Global Events Magazine online at www.GeoStrategyMap.com is dedicated to in-depth and truly objective analysis and forecasting of global developments. Absent from our Magazine are the economic, political, social and ideological biases and allegiances that permeate, often very subtly, most other media. The only cause supported by our Magazine is to tell the whole economic and geopolitical truth, no matter how unpopular, no matter how painful.
Most other magazines and papers either seek advertising arrangements or partnership agreements, or both, with other media outlets and entities. Since this is not true of our Magazine, the analysis that appears within is not hampered by loyalties or sensitivities to any outside monetary or ideological influence, because no such loyalties, sensitivities or influence have ever existed, nor will they exist in the future. We are not bound by what the majority thinks or by conventional wisdom, but only by the verifiable facts. We have always had the courage and the intellectual ability to repeatedly face down the majority when the real and verifiable facts warranted it, and we will never be deterred from that course.
W. Mr. Stroupe’s interest in strategic analysis and forecasting related to geopolitics, energy and the global economy began in earnest in 1970 when he was only 18 years old. Determined to steer clear of the excessive indoctrination and the resulting loss of the ability to think independently that he observed was all too often the result of a formal education, Mr. Stroupe chose instead to study independently with the goal of developing an entirely new model of strategic analysis and forecasting, one that avoided excessive reliance on popular notions and assumptions about geopolitics and relied instead upon verifiable fundamental trends and the well-defined forces that act as their drivers.
By 1986, after 16 years of study, development and testing, Mr. Stroupe’s radical new model had proven itself sufficiently that he felt confident enough to begin offering his forecasting services privately, which he did until the spring of 2004. During the period from 1986 to 2004 he continued to perfect his new approach and to integrate economic and energy-based frameworks into his new geopolitical forecasting model.
